Por motivos económicos, al estar presionados por tener que pagar licencias (por usar el software del monopolio que ha perdido tantos juicios por delitos), y por otros valores que ahora curiosamente si dicen defender, al final los Rusos usarán Gnu/Linux.

Me alegra que sea con esta buena noticia con la que alcance los 100 artículos en Bulma. Así que no me he dado el gusto de protestar por nuestra parsimonia, no demasiado. ;-)

¡Pues bien por Rusia!

Por lo visto al entrar en la Organización Mundial del Comercio les imponen que persigan a las escuelas que usan software incumpliendo las licencias. Y claro, ahora si les sale caro.

La noticia es mucho más importante de lo que parece. No es porque lo diga yo, que os la paso en estas notas, es porque el tamaño y potencia económica de Rusia es mucho mayor que el de nuestra Extremadura que dio un paso visionario hace años en este mismo sentido y que se ha esforzado fuertemente manteniendo una impresionante vanguardia. Vanguardia a la que se está uniendo Andalucía. Aunque no creo que a la medida de sus posibilidades. Andalucía es más grande y económicamente mucho más solvente lo que tarda en reflejarse en inversiones. No digo nada de las otras comunidades, no quiero que se sientan insultados.

La población de Rusia es de 141 Millones de habitantes y su superficie es de 17.075.400 km2 mientras que Extremadura tiene un millón de habitantes y 41.634 km². El PIB de Extremadura es de 12 mil millones de euros y el de Rusia es de alrededor de 300 mil millones de euros. Así pues, si la decisión Rusa es firme y realmente deciden empujar el software libre, aunque sea el educativo, puede ser un empujón realmente fuerte.

Una vez más la misma pregunta: ¿Qué pasa que todos nos adelantan? Sabemos que Extremadura ha sido la vanguardia del mundo en usar el software libre, sabemos que la gente ha llevado a España a la vanguardia también en el uso de licencias libres como alguna de las Creative Commons. ¿Y entonces?

Es como si en donación de órganos, donde también somos líderes por cierto, decidiesen usar en otros lugares unas máquinas mejores tras largos años de despiste o desgana, simplemente porque resulta que ahora dicen darse cuenta de que es más barato y nosotros siguiésemos mal, y comentiendo delitos.

Bueno, calmémonos, que esta noticia no se titula "otros que cambian a libre y nosotros por aquí aun con software pirata" sino un "Rusia usará software libre en sus escuelas". Hay que decirlo bien claro: ¡Bien por Rusia! Ahora a ver si es verdad que se cumple.

11 millones de habitantes es muy poco para un pais tan grande. Contando que en España hay muchos más.

En la wikipedia no esta mal: 11 millones es la población de la capital Moscú. La población total del país esta más abajo y figura como de 141.377.750 habitantes casi el mismo numero que dice en el articulo que enlazas

Pues me parecia un dato muy importante , deberian de hacerlo a qui , mas que nada xq el windows lo tengo hasta la coronilla y ya van tres veces que doy Windows XP y M$ office asi que en españa con linux ya se pueden poner las pilas un poquitin .
